Allegheny County Employee Rights Attorney
If you are looking for an attorney to contest a DUI charge or an employment discrimination matter, I can help. At my Pittsburgh law firm, Law Office of Michael J. Lorence, I am a strong advocate for justice and fairness. In too many cases, justice is not blind. Rather, it depends on who you know. My goal is to level the playing field for my clients so they can receive fair treatment from the legal system.
I have more than 15 years of experience practicing law. In the years since I graduated from law school, I have helped many people who have experienced discrimination or retaliation fight back. My clients also include students and others who faced the loss of their drivers' licenses after being charged with drunk driving. I have defended people charged with serious crimes.
An Attorney With Diverse Experience and Dedication to Clients
Whatever their type of case, clients find me to be hard working, determined and effective. I am a graduate of the Trial Lawyers College (TLC), founded and led by legendary trial lawyer Gerry Spence, a credential earned by just a few hundred attorneys since TLC was founded in 1994. The curriculum at TLC prepares experienced attorneys to rise to the next level of advocacy. It teaches us how to listen fully to our clients, and build strong cases in pursuit of justice in the courtroom.
I always make a point to visit my client and their families at their home. I learn a lot about who each of you are just by sitting in your living room, looking at the family photos on the mantle and so on.
The Trial Lawyers College teaches us that lawyers can't really represent their clients unless we know the story of your case. I am YOUR representative in the courtroom. How can I represent you unless I know you? And that starts with listening to YOU. How has your legal problem affected you and your family? How does it feel? Does it keep you up at night? And so on.
My clients include union members, students, middle management professionals and other people who need the advocacy that can only come from a committed and experienced attorney. I do not represent businesses and corporations or government agencies. Rather, I am committed to securing the individual rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
